Technical Codes

Students need to upload their write-ups on the technical codes of films that are of a similar genre to their own productions. Remember to embed the YouTube of the film to support your text, if you do not know how to do this check online or speak to Mr Hughes as soon as possible.

Editing Codes and Conventions

What type of editing do you expect your film to involve; research the editing codes and conventions of the genre that your film be based and write a 200 word detailing your findings.

Symbolic Codes

An analysis of the symbolic codes prevalent within the genre that your production will belong to. Students should also upload the mood-board created in lesson to support writing. Refer to your notes if you are unsure what symbolic codes are

Casting Overview

Students need to upload a post based on the casting of roles for their films. It would be a good idea to include photographs, character descriptions and reasons why particular peolple have been chosen to fulfill particular roles.
